At New Era, we pride ourselves in the quality of products we produce. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we will gladly issue a refund within 30 days of the purchase for orders placed within the US only. Refunds for items returned AFTER 30 days of original purchase date will be in the form of a gift card and will be returned at the current retail price. Items returned after 90 days of purchase will not be accepted. All returned items must be unworn, unwashed and in new condition to be eligible for a refund, or credit.

Due to carrier transit times, please allow up to 3 weeks from the date you mail your package for your return to be processed completely. It may take up to two (2) billing cycles for your credit to show in your account.
Shipping and Handling Fees
Shipping and handling fees, including those to ship items back are non-refundable. On a case by case basis, we will issue a credit for reasonable and customary freight charges if the returned item is defective or incorrect. Please include a postal receipt in your return package.
When requesting an exchange, we cannot guarantee that the exchange item you wish to receive will be available at the time your request is processed. We highly recommend you simply return the item you wish to exchange, and place a new order for the replacement item on our website.
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of that purchase. After 30 days, the refund will be in the form of a gift card.
You will be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.
If a Gift Card was used, the refund amount will be applied to a new Gift Card.
Returning an Item
PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept returns for products purchased through third-party retailers (Fanatics, lids, etc.). Please contact the retailer where the purchase was made for information on their return policy.
If you have a NewEraCap.com account:
- Log-In using the “My New Era” link at the top of website
- Navigate to Order History
- Click “Create Return” on the order you are needed to place a return request
If you don’t have a NewEraCap.com account:
- Contact Customer Service at 866.700.4150 or go to http://www.zaccatalog.com/contactus to initiate a return. If emailing, be sure to include order number, and items to be returned.
Shipping Back Your Return:
- Write return number clearly on the outside of the box, and place enclosed pre-paid shipping label on the outside of the original shipping box covering the original shipping label.
- Drop return off at any UPS Store or collection point.

Exchanging an Item
When requesting an exchange, we cannot guarantee that the replacement item(s) you wish to receive will be available at the time your request is processed. We highly recommend that you simply return the item(s) you wish to exchange and place a new order for the replacement item(s) on our website. By doing this, you will receive your new item(s) faster and with a much better chance that they will be in stock.
